The Problem

Agencies Are Flying Blind on Retirement Risk

The federal workforce is approaching a retirement wave. But most agencies have no systematic way to understand who is financially prepared to separate, who will delay, and where workforce gaps will appear. Retirement seminars deliver general information — they produce no data you can act on.

No readiness data

You know who is retirement-eligible. You do not know who is financially prepared to separate — or who will stay two to four years longer than expected because they cannot afford to leave.

No gap visibility

Income shortfalls don't show up in HR systems. They show up as delayed retirements, morale problems, and unexpected vacancies at the wrong time. You're seeing the symptom, not the cause.

No decision impact

Traditional retirement training is delivered once and forgotten. There is no measurement of whether employees changed their plans, took action, or remain at risk.

The Solution

Individual Employee Planning. Agency-Level Intelligence.

FedVetRetirement is a federal workforce retirement readiness platform. Employees use it to model their own retirement income — FERS pension, VA disability, Social Security timing, survivor benefits, healthcare costs, and tax impact — in one accurate projection.

Your agency receives none of that individual data. Instead, you receive aggregate, anonymized workforce intelligence: readiness scores, income gap distribution, and retirement timing risk indicators — updated continuously, not delivered once in a three-hour seminar.

Agency Deliverables

What Your Agency Receives

All outputs are aggregate and anonymized. No individual employee data is accessible to the agency.

% of workforce with projected income gaps
Identify the share of employees whose projected retirement income falls below their income target — before they delay separation.
Average retirement income shortfall
Quantify the average monthly and annual gap across your workforce, disaggregated by those on track vs. at risk.
Retirement timing risk indicators
See what share of employees adjusted their planned retirement age after reviewing their projections — a leading indicator of delayed separations.
Readiness score distribution
Workforce segmented into Strong, Moderate, At Risk, and Critical tiers — giving you a clear picture of where benefits counseling resources are needed.
Social Security claiming risk
The share of employees claiming Social Security early (62–64), which reduces lifetime income and income replacement ratios permanently.
Survivor benefit coverage rate
Percentage of employees with survivor benefit elections in place — a common planning gap that surfaces as a crisis after separation.
Year-over-year trend reporting
Annual readiness reports comparing current-year workforce metrics to prior-year baselines, suitable for leadership briefings.
Decision impact analysis
For each cohort, the before/after comparison showing how many employees changed their retirement plan after using the platform.

Deployment

How a Pilot Works

01

Pilot Setup — Week 1

We establish your pilot program, configure your invite link, and provide a one-page briefing for HR and employees explaining the tool and privacy protections. No IT integration is required.

02

Employee Enrollment — Weeks 2–8

Employees access the platform through a secure, agency-specific invite link. They enter their FERS service history, VA status, planned retirement age, and benefit elections. The platform generates a personalized retirement income projection. There is no requirement for employees to share their results with the agency.

03

Aggregate Intelligence — Ongoing

As employees complete their planning sessions, your agency analytics update in real time. You receive access to your workforce readiness dashboard and a formal pilot report at the end of the engagement period.

04

Pilot Report Delivery

At pilot close, you receive a formal written report suitable for leadership review: participation rate, readiness distribution, income gap analysis, decision impact metrics, and recommended follow-on actions. This report is designed to support justification for ongoing program funding.

Differentiation

Built Specifically for the Federal Workforce

Generic financial wellness platforms do not model FERS. FedVetRetirement is the only platform that accurately combines all federal-specific income sources in a single projection.

FERS + VA + Survivor — Combined

The only platform that models FERS pension, VA disability payments, Social Security timing, and survivor benefit elections together. No generic calculator captures this interaction.

Aggregate-only reporting

No individual employee data is ever shared with agencies. All workforce intelligence is derived from anonymized, aggregated outcomes. Designed with the Privacy Act of 1974 in mind.

Continuous, not episodic

Unlike a one-time seminar, the platform captures changes in employee plans over time. You see whether your workforce is getting more or less prepared — year over year.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Is employee data kept private?

Yes. Employees create their own accounts and input their own data. Their individual scenario data — salary, service history, benefit elections, and retirement projections — is never accessible to the agency. Only aggregate, anonymized statistics are surfaced in agency-facing reports and dashboards.

Does our agency see individual employee information?

No. The agency analytics dashboard shows only workforce-level aggregates: percentage with income gaps, average shortfall amounts, readiness score distribution, and timing change rates. There is no mechanism for an agency user to drill into any individual employee's data.

How is this different from a retirement seminar or financial wellness program?

Seminars deliver general information once and produce no data. Financial wellness programs are not built for FERS and cannot model the interaction of FERS pension, VA disability, survivor benefits, and Social Security timing. FedVetRetirement is the only platform that produces accurate, federal-specific income projections and aggregates them into workforce-level intelligence your agency can act on.

How is the platform deployed?

No IT integration is required. Employees access the platform through a secure, agency-specific invite link distributed by HR. There is no software to install, no connection to payroll systems, and no requirement for employees to use government devices. Employees can access the platform from any device.

Can this be purchased as a training line item?

Yes. The Core Pilot ($12,500 / up to 100 employees) is priced below the federal micro-purchase threshold of $15,000 (effective 10/1/2025) — no contract vehicle or competition requirement. A single GPC transaction is sufficient. For annual licensing and enterprise deployments, we can work with simplified acquisition procedures and GSA Schedule vehicles.

What happens after the pilot?

You receive a formal written pilot outcome report and a debrief call covering findings, workforce risk areas, and recommended actions. Agencies that continue to an annual subscription receive ongoing access to the workforce analytics dashboard, quarterly reports, and updated analytics as the workforce evolves.

Ready to See Your Workforce Readiness Data?

A 60–90 day pilot gives your agency its first real picture of retirement readiness across your workforce. Structured, low-friction, and priced to fit a training budget.

No commitment required to request a pilot. We will follow up with a program brief and a one-page capability statement.
